Yes there is! As you can see here in Joshua Tree National Park amongst the rocks and sand and barren landscape is an oasis of water.
I visited this park a few times and was amazed at the unnatural array of abundant natural beauty. Well that probably doesn’t make a whole lot of sense but neither does this park. Take a look at the rocks and trees here:

Take a look at this farm in Pennsylvania. It’s been here for almost three hundred years. Owned and operated by the same family and still producing the largest and sweetest corn on the planet.
